I played the same 20′ melody with 5 different headjoints: vintage Albert Cooper silver hj / silver Muramatsu hj / silver Mancke with pink ebony lip plate hj / silver Brannen-Cooper hj / silver Lafin with 14k lip plate and raiser hj.
All headjoints are played with the same flute body (b foot silver Brannen-Cooper). The quality of the recording is just very casual (I did it with my phone). Sorry about that! I just wanted to experiment a bit in an spontaneous way and have some fun!
Can you recognise which headjoint am I playing each time? Which one do you prefer?
Thanks for listening! Results in the video description!
Number 2 is the winner for me.
